1. Important Safety Information

Please read all instructions carefully before using your new Weceleh induction cooktop. Retain this manual for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or personal injury.

  • Ensure the cooktop is installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local codes and regulations.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
  • Always unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
  • Do not immerse cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquid.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • Use only cookware compatible with induction cooktops (magnetic base).

Safety Features

  • Child Safety Lock: Prevents accidental operation by locking the control panel.
  • Over-Temperature Protection: Automatically shuts off the cooktop if it detects excessive heat.
  • Automatic Shutdown Feature: The cooktop will automatically turn off if left unattended for an extended period or if no cookware is detected.
  • Overflow Protection: Designed to prevent damage from spills.
  • Automatic Pot Detection: The cooktop will only activate when suitable cookware is placed on the cooking zone.

The Weceleh 12-inch 2-burner induction cooktop is designed for efficient and safe cooking. It features two powerful cooking zones, digital touch controls, and multiple safety functions.

3. Installation Instructions

The Weceleh 12-inch induction cooktop is designed for drop-in installation and requires hardwiring. Professional installation is recommended.

Dimensions and Cut-Out Requirements:

  • Product Dimensions: 11.3” (width) x 20.5” (depth) x 2.4” (height)
  • Recommended Cut-Out Hole Size: 10.5” (width) x 19.7” (depth)

Electrical Connection:

The cooktop requires a 220-240V, 3500W hardwired connection. It does not come with a traditional plug. Ensure proper grounding and follow all electrical safety guidelines.

4. Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off:

  1. To turn on the cooktop, press the Power button. The display will show "Lo" or similar indicator.
  2. To turn off the cooktop, press the Power button again.

Selecting a Cooking Zone and Adjusting Power:

  1. Place suitable induction-compatible cookware on the desired cooking zone.
  2. Press the corresponding Heating Zone Selection button for the burner you wish to use.
  3. Use the "+" or "-" buttons to adjust the power level from 1 to 9.
  4. The cooktop will automatically detect the pot and begin heating.

Using the Boost Function:

  • After selecting a cooking zone and setting a power level, press the Boost button to activate maximum power for rapid heating.
  • The boost function is temporary and will automatically reduce power after a set period to prevent overheating.

Setting the Timer:

  1. While a cooking zone is active, press the Timer button.
  2. Use the "+" or "-" buttons to set the desired cooking time (1-99 minutes).
  3. The cooktop will automatically turn off the selected zone once the timer expires.

Activating Child Safety Lock:

  • To activate the child safety lock, press the Key Lock button. The control panel will be locked, preventing accidental changes.
  • To deactivate, press and hold the Key Lock button again until the lock indicator disappears.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning will help maintain the appearance and performance of your induction cooktop.

  • Always ensure the cooktop is cool and unplugged (if applicable) before cleaning.
  • For daily cleaning, wipe the glass surface with a soft cloth and mild detergent.
  • For stubborn stains, use a ceramic cooktop cleaner and a non-abrasive pad.
  • Avoid using abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the glass surface.
  • Wipe dry with a clean cloth to prevent water spots.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your cooktop, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Check the circuit breaker.

"Lo" or "E" error code displayed.
  • No suitable cookware on the zone.
  • Cookware is too small or not centered.
  • Internal error.
  • Place induction-compatible cookware on the cooking zone.
  • Ensure cookware covers at least 70% of the cooking zone.
  • Turn off the cooktop, wait a few minutes, then turn it back on. If the error persists, contact customer support.
Cooktop makes a humming or buzzing noise.
  • Normal operation of induction technology.
  • Cookware material or construction.
  • This is normal and not a defect.
  • Try different cookware.
Cooktop shuts off unexpectedly.
  • Over-temperature protection activated.
  • Automatic shutdown feature.
  • Cookware removed from zone.
  • Allow the cooktop to cool down.
  • Ensure cookware is always on the zone during operation.
  • Restart the cooktop.
