3. Setup Guide

3.1 Unpacking the Printer

Carefully remove the printer and all components from the packaging. Ensure the following items are present:

3.2 Connecting the Printer

3.3 Installing the Toner Cartridge

Open the front access door of the printer. Insert the HP Black Original LaserJet Toner Cartridge into its designated slot until it clicks into place. Close the access door.

3.4 Initial Power On and Configuration

Press the power button to turn on the printer. Follow the on-screen instructions on the touch control panel to complete the initial setup, including language selection, date, and time settings.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Loading Paper

The printer supports various media types and sizes. The maximum input sheet capacity is 350 sheets across its three trays.

4.2 Printing Documents

From your computer or compatible device (PC, Smartphones), send print jobs to the printer. The printer supports monochrome output with a maximum print speed of 40 ppm. Automatic two-sided printing is available.

  1. Open the document you wish to print.
  2. Select "Print" from the application menu.

  2. Remove the old toner cartridge by pulling it straight out.
  3. Unpack the new HP toner cartridge and gently shake it to distribute the toner.
  4. Insert the new cartridge into the slot until it clicks into place.
  5. Close the front access door.

5.2 Cleaning the Printer

Regular cleaning helps maintain print quality and extends the life of your printer.

  • Wipe the exterior of the printer with a soft, lint-free cloth.
  • Clean the scanner glass with a soft cloth dampened with glass cleaner (non-abrasive).
