2. Product Overview

3. Safety Instructions

5. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly install the salt lamp cord into your Himalayan salt lamp:

  1. Prepare the Lamp: Ensure your Himalayan salt lamp is stable and on a flat surface. Locate the opening at the bottom of the salt lamp where the cord assembly will be inserted.
  2. Insert Bulb: Gently screw one of the provided E12 8W bulbs into the socket of the cord assembly. Do not overtighten.

  4. Insert Cord Assembly: Carefully insert the entire cord assembly, with the bulb screwed in, into the opening at the bottom of your salt lamp. The base of the cord assembly is designed to fit snugly within the lamp's cavity.

  6. Secure the Base: Ensure the plastic clips or tabs on the base of the cord assembly are properly seated and secure within the lamp's opening. This provides stability for the bulb and cord.
  7. Position the Lamp: Place the salt lamp in your desired location, ensuring the cord is not tangled or obstructing pathways.
  8. Plug In: Plug the power cord into a standard 110V AC electrical outlet.

6. Operating Instructions

  • Turning On/Off: Rotate the dimmer knob clockwise until you hear a click. This turns the lamp on. To turn off, rotate the knob counter-clockwise until you hear a click.
  • Adjusting Brightness: Once the lamp is on, continue rotating the dimmer knob clockwise to increase brightness, and counter-clockwise to decrease brightness.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Ensure the cord is unplugged before cleaning. Wipe the cord and dimmer switch with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners.
  • Bulb Replacement:
    1. Unplug the cord from the power outlet.
    2. Carefully remove the cord assembly from the salt lamp.
    3. Unscrew the old bulb counter-clockwise.
    4. Screw in a new E12 base, 8W incandescent bulb clockwise until snug.
    5. Reinsert the cord assembly into the salt lamp and plug it back in.
