Setup

1. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the Nicwell Water Dental Flosser. A full charge typically takes approximately 4 hours and provides up to 30 days of battery life, depending on usage.

  1. Connect the USB charging cable to the charging port on the device.
  2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a compatible power adapter (not included), laptop, car charger, or power bank.
  3. The indicator light will show charging status. Ensure the waterproof plug is closed tightly after charging to maintain IPX7 rating.

2. Attaching Nozzles

The flosser comes with multiple interchangeable jet tips for various oral care needs.

  1. Select the desired nozzle (Classic, Tongue Scraper, or Orthodontic).
  2. Insert the nozzle into the hole at the top of the flosser handle until it clicks securely into place.
  3. To remove, press the nozzle release button located on the side of the handle and pull the nozzle out.

3. Filling the Water Tank

The device features a 200ml detachable water tank for easy filling and cleaning.

  1. Detach the water tank from the main unit by twisting or pulling it off (refer to product diagram for specific detachment method).
  2. Fill the tank with lukewarm water. You may also add mouthwash as recommended by your dental professional.
  3. Reattach the water tank securely to the main unit.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off and Mode Selection

The Nicwell Water Dental Flosser offers four distinct cleaning modes and 11 adjustable intensity levels to suit individual needs.

  1. Press the 'ON/OFF' button to turn the device on.
  2. Press the 'MODE' button to cycle through the available modes: Normal, Soft, Pulse, and Custom. The selected mode will be indicated by a light.
  3. In Custom mode, you can manually adjust the pressure intensity to your preference. The device will remember your last used setting for convenience.
  4. Press the 'ON/OFF' button again to turn the device off.

2. Proper Usage Technique

For optimal results and to prevent splashing, follow these steps:

  1. Place the jet tip into your mouth before turning on the device.
  2. Lean over a sink to allow water to drain.
  3. Aim the tip at a 90-degree angle to your gumline.
  4. Press the 'ON/OFF' button to start the water flow.
  5. Guide the water stream along your gumline and between your teeth, pausing briefly between each tooth.
  6. Continue until you have cleaned all areas of your mouth.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Unit and Nozzles

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and hygiene.

  • After each use, empty any remaining water from the tank.
  • Detach the water tank and rinse it thoroughly with clean water. The detachable design allows for easy access and cleaning.
  • Rinse the nozzle under running water.
  • Wipe the main unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water, although it is IPX7 waterproof for shower use, it should not be submerged for cleaning.
  • Allow all parts to air dry before reassembling or storing.

2. Storage

Store the flosser in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Ensure the water tank is empty and dry to prevent mildew or bacterial growth.
