4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the device.
  2. Insert the provided 21700 battery (or a compatible 18650 battery) according to the polarity indicators (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment securely.

4.2 TF Card Installation

  1. Locate the TF card slot, usually protected by a rubber cover.
  2. Gently insert a TF card (up to 128GB, not included) into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the correct orientation.
  3. Close the rubber cover to protect the slot from dust and moisture.

4.3 Mounting the Device (Optional)

The HENBAKER CY789 can be attached to a riflescope or other compatible devices using the provided adapter and rail system.

  1. Attach the 35mm-45mm adapter to your riflescope's eyepiece.
  2. Slide the night vision device onto the adapter, ensuring a secure fit.
  3. Use the Picatinny rail and track clamp if mounting to a compatible rail system.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • To power on, press and hold the power button (usually marked with ) for a few seconds until the screen illuminates.
  • To power off, press and hold the power button again until the screen turns off.

5.2 Mode Selection

The device typically supports different modes (e.g., Photo, Video, Playback). Use the mode button to cycle through available modes.

5.3 Zoom Adjustment

Use the zoom buttons (often marked with + and -) to adjust the digital zoom level. The device also has optical zoom capabilities.

5.4 Infrared (IR) Illumination

In low-light or complete darkness, activate the IR illuminators. The device has two IR LEDs (850nm and 940nm) with 5 adjustable levels.

  • Press the IR button to cycle through IR levels or turn IR on/off.
  • The 940nm IR is less visible to the naked eye, offering more discreet operation.

5.5 Photo and Video Recording

  • In Photo mode, press the shutter button to capture an image.
  • In Video mode, press the record button to start/stop video recording.
  • Ensure a TF card is inserted for saving media.

5.6 Reticle Selection

The device offers 7 types of reticles in red, green, black, and white colors for improved targeting.

  • Navigate to the reticle settings in the menu.

5.7 WiFi Connectivity
