1. Introduction

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the safe and effective operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your RZH Professional Steam Hair Straightener. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device and retain it for future reference.

2. Safety Information

Important Safety Instructions: Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury.

  • Do not use this appliance near water.
  • Always unplug the appliance immediately after use.

3. Setup

Filling the Water Tank

  1. Open the tank by sliding and holding down the switch located at the bottom of the tank.
  2. Pull out the black, T-shaped plug underneath the tank.
  3. Fill the tank with clean water using the provided dropper bottle. Do not overfill.
  4. Re-insert the plug and ensure it does not leak.
  5. Snap the tank back into place until it clicks securely.

Attaching the Removable Comb

The steam hair straightener features a removable brush comb for enhanced styling. Ensure it is securely attached before use.

4. Operating Instructions

Powering On and Temperature Selection

  1. Plug the appliance into a suitable power outlet (AC 100-240V, 50/60Hz).
  2. Press and hold the power button to turn on the device. The LCD display will illuminate.
  3. Use the temperature control buttons (+ and -) to select your desired temperature. The LCD display will show the current temperature.
  4. Allow the device to heat up. It reaches its maximum temperature of 430°F (230°C) in approximately 30 seconds.
  5. Once the desired temperature is reached, secure the setting with the auto-lock feature to prevent accidental changes during use.

Straightening Hair with Steam Function

The steam function helps to moisturize hair and achieve smoother results.

  1. Ensure the water tank is filled as per the "Setup" section.
  2. Press the steam ON/OFF button to activate the steam function.
  3. Take a section of hair and place it between the heating plates.
  4. Gently glide the straightener down the hair section from root to tip. The steam will be released during this process.
  5. Repeat for all sections of hair until desired straightness is achieved.

Automatic Shut-off

For safety, the appliance features an automatic shut-off function. If left unattended, the straightener will automatically turn off after 60 minutes.

5. Maintenance and Care

Cleaning the Appliance

  1. Ensure the appliance is unplugged and completely cooled down before cleaning.
  2. Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  3. For the heating plates, gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
  4. If the removable comb needs cleaning, detach it and rinse under water. Ensure it is completely dry before reattaching.

Storage

Store the appliance in a cool, dry place, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Do not wrap the power cord tightly around the appliance, as this can damage the cord.
