1. Plan Your Layout: Determine the desired placement for each 9-inch LED light bar under your cabinets. Consider the length of the jumper wires to connect the bars and the control box. The system supports linking up to 6 bars in either a split or continuous configuration.
2. Mount Light Bars: Use the provided bar mounting clips. Peel the adhesive backing from the clips and firmly press them onto the clean, dry underside of your cabinets where you want the light bars. Insert the LED light bars into the mounted clips. For additional security, small screws are included for optional use with the clips.
3. Connect Light Bars: Use the various lengths of jumper wires to connect the LED light bars to each other and to the Smart Control Box. Ensure all connections are secure. The kit includes jumper extenders for bridging larger gaps, such as over a sink or stove.
4. Mount Control Box: Position the Smart Control Box in an accessible location, typically under a cabinet near an outlet. Use the adhesive backing on the control box or its clips to secure it.
5. Manage Wires: Use the wire mounting clips to neatly route and secure any excess jumper wires, ensuring a clean and organized installation.
6. Connect Power: Plug the AC adapter into the Smart Control Box, then plug the AC adapter into a standard wall outlet.
7. Connect to Alexa:
   • Ensure your Alexa device is powered on and connected to your Wi-Fi network.
   • If you purchased the kit with "link to your account" enabled, Alexa may automatically detect the lights upon power-up.
   • Otherwise, open the Amazon Alexa app on your smartphone or tablet.
