4. Setup
4.1 Initial Inspection

4.2 Air Filling Procedure
The Beeman 2027 is a Pre-Charged Pneumatic (PCP) air pistol and requires an external air source (e.g., hand pump, scuba tank, or compressor) to fill its air cylinder. The maximum fill pressure is 3000 PSI.
- Ensure the air pistol is unloaded and the safety is engaged.
- Locate the fill port on the front of the air cylinder.
- Attach the provided air connector to your air source hose.
- Insert the air connector into the fill port.
- Slowly fill the air cylinder to the recommended pressure (maximum 3000 PSI), monitoring the integrated pressure gauge.
- Once filled, disconnect the air source and remove the air connector.

4.3 Loading Pellets
The pistol can be loaded using either the 12-shot rotary magazines or the single-shot trays.
Using Rotary Magazines:
- Pull back the bolt handle until it locks in the open position.
- Insert a loaded 12-shot magazine into the breech. Ensure it clicks into place.
- Push the bolt handle forward to chamber the first pellet.
Using Single-Shot Tray:
- Pull back the bolt handle until it locks in the open position.
- Insert a single-shot tray into the breech.
- Place one .177 caliber pellet into the tray, ensuring it is seated correctly.
- Push the bolt handle forward to chamber the pellet.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Firing the Pistol
- Ensure the air pistol is loaded and the safety is engaged (refer to Figure 4 for safety location).
- Aim at a safe target.
- Disengage the safety by pushing it to the 'Fire' position.
- Place your finger on the trigger and slowly squeeze to fire.
- After firing, engage the safety immediately.
