1. Safety Information

WARNING: This is not a toy. Misuse may cause serious injury or death. Always treat this air pistol with the same respect as a firearm. Read and understand all instructions before use.

  • Always wear appropriate eye protection when handling or operating this air pistol.
  • Keep fingers off the trigger until ready to fire.
  • Never point the air pistol at anything you do not intend to shoot.
  • Ensure the area behind your target is clear and safe.
  • Store the air pistol unloaded and uncharged in a secure location, out of reach of children and unauthorized users.
  • Do not modify the air pistol. Any modifications may compromise safety and performance.
  • Use only .50 caliber powder balls or rubber balls designed for this air pistol. Do not use unauthorized projectiles.
  • CO2 cartridges can be dangerous if mishandled. Follow all instructions for CO2 installation and removal.

2. Product Overview

3. Setup and Loading

3.1 Installing the CO2 Cartridge

  1. Ensure the air pistol is unloaded and pointed in a safe direction.
  2. Unscrew the CO2 cap at the bottom of the grip.

  4. Insert one 12g CO2 cartridge into the grip with the narrow end facing up.

  6. Screw the CO2 cap back on. Tighten it until snug, but avoid overtightening, as this can damage the seal or prevent CO2 flow. The CO2 cartridge is now housed but not activated.

3.2 Loading Projectiles

  1. Ensure the air pistol is pointed in a safe direction.
  2. Pull the follower back from the front of the barrel.

  4. Insert up to six .50 caliber powder balls or rubber balls into the loading chamber.

  6. Slowly release the follower back into position. The air pistol is now loaded.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Activating CO2

To activate the CO2 cartridge, firmly tap the bottom of the CO2 cap against a hard surface. This punctures the cartridge, making the air pistol ready to fire. Only activate the CO2 when you intend to use the air pistol immediately.

4.2 Firing the Air Pistol

  1. Ensure the CO2 is activated and the air pistol is loaded.
  2. Aim at a safe and appropriate target.
  3. Pull the trigger. The trigger safety is disengaged as the trigger is pulled.
  4. After firing, if more shots are desired, ensure the air pistol remains pointed in a safe direction and continue to fire until empty or until the CO2 pressure is depleted.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and reliable operation of your Umarex P2P HDP air pistol.

  • Cleaning: Periodically clean the exterior of the air pistol with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Barrel Cleaning: If projectiles become stuck or accuracy decreases, use a cleaning rod or the provided tool to gently clear the barrel.

  • CO2 Seal Care: Apply a drop of silicone oil to the tip of new CO2 cartridges before insertion to help maintain the integrity of the internal seals.
  • Storage: Always store the air pistol unloaded and with the CO2 cartridge removed (and depleted if activated). Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

6. Troubleshooting
