1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

4. Assembly Instructions

4.2. Step-by-Step Assembly

  1. Connect Rear and Front Frames: Insert the front frame (with the steering column receiver) into the rear frame (with the rear wheels). Ensure the short end of the front frame points down and the longer end points up. Secure with the smooth knob provided.
  2. Attach Front Axle: Connect the front axle (with the front wheels) to the front frame. Align the holes and insert the longer bolt with a washer. Tighten using the larger Allen wrench.
  3. Install Handlebar: Insert the handlebar assembly into the steering column. Align the holes and insert the remaining longer bolt with a washer. Tighten securely.
  4. Attach Knee Pad: Place the knee pad assembly onto its support post. Use the four smaller bolts and the smaller Allen wrench to secure it firmly.
  5. Install Storage Basket: Attach the basket frame to the designated hooks on the front of the steering column. Secure the fabric basket to the frame using the hook-and-loop fasteners.

5. Adjustments

5.1. Handlebar Height Adjustment

The handlebar height can be adjusted to suit users between 4'0" and 6'6". Loosen the knob on the steering column, adjust the handlebar to the desired height, ensuring the silver buttons snap into place in the adjustment holes, and then re-tighten the knob firmly.

5.2. Knee Pad Height Adjustment

The knee pad height is adjustable to ensure comfortable positioning. Loosen the quick-release lever below the knee pad, adjust the knee pad to the appropriate height, and then firmly close the quick-release lever to secure it.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Steering

The KneeRover Ultra is steerable, allowing for easy navigation. Gently turn the handlebars in the desired direction. Be mindful of the turning radius, especially in confined spaces.

6.2. Braking

The knee walker features dual rear locking brakes for reliable stopping power and control. Squeeze the brake levers on the handlebars to slow down or stop. To engage the parking brake, squeeze the levers and press the small button on the brake mechanism. Release the button to disengage.

7. Storage and Transport

  • Folding the Steering Column: Loosen the knob on the steering column and fold the handlebar down.
  • Separating the Frame: Loosen the quick-release lever on the main frame. Press the silver buttons and separate the front and rear frame sections.
  • Once separated, the compact components can easily fit into most car trunks for transport.
