Setup Instructions
1. Chain and Guide Bar Installation
Follow these steps to correctly install and adjust the saw chain and guide bar:
- Install Chain: Place the chain onto the guide bar, ensuring the cutting direction of the chain teeth is correct. Refer to the diagram for proper orientation.
- Attach Side Panel Cover: Position the side panel cover over the guide bar and chain assembly.
- Insert Screw: Insert the retaining screw but do not tighten it fully yet.
- Adjust Chain Tightness: Use the provided screwdriver to adjust the chain tension. The chain should be snug but still able to be pulled freely around the guide bar by hand.
- Tighten Guide Cover: Once the chain tension is correct, fully tighten the retaining screw with the wrench.

2. Battery Charging and Installation
The chainsaw is powered by a 24V lithium-ion battery. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use.
- Charging: Connect the battery charger to a power outlet and then to the battery. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes 2.5-3 hours.
- Installation: Slide the charged battery into the base of the chainsaw handle until it clicks securely into place. Ensure it is firmly seated to prevent accidental disconnection during operation.

Operating Instructions
1. Pre-Operation Checks
- Verify the chain is properly installed and tensioned.
- Ensure the battery is fully charged and securely installed.
- Check that the safety splash guard is in place and functional.
- Inspect the work area for any potential hazards.
2. Starting and Stopping
- To Start: Press and hold the safety lock button (Image 5), then squeeze the trigger switch. The chain will begin to move.
- To Stop: Release the trigger switch. The chain will stop. Always release the safety lock button after stopping.

3. Cutting Techniques
- Hold the chainsaw firmly with one hand, ensuring a stable grip.
- Position the chainsaw so the chain makes contact with the material to be cut.
- Apply gentle, consistent pressure. Allow the saw to do the work; do not force it.
- For thicker branches, make multiple shallow cuts rather than one deep cut to prevent binding.
- Be aware of kickback, especially when cutting with the tip of the guide bar.

4. Safety Features
- Safety Splash Guard: The adjustable splash guard (Image 7) helps protect against flying wood chips. Ensure it is properly positioned before cutting.
- Overload Protection: The intelligent circuit control board provides overload protection. If the chainsaw overheats, it will automatically shut down. Allow 1-3 minutes for it to cool before restarting.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your chainsaw. Always disconnect the battery before performing any maintenance.
1. Chain Lubrication
This chainsaw does not have an automatic oiler. It is crucial to manually lubricate the chain and guide bar frequently during use, approximately every 10-15 minutes of operation. Use a small oil can with chain and bar oil or white lithium grease spray. Proper lubrication prevents premature chain wear and failure.
2. Chain Sharpening and Replacement
A sharp chain is essential for efficient and safe cutting. Sharpen the chain regularly or replace it when dull or damaged. Refer to the chain manufacturer's guidelines for proper sharpening techniques. Ensure the replacement chain matches the original specifications.

3. Cleaning
After each use, clean the chainsaw to remove sawdust, debris, and resin. Use a brush or compressed air to clean the guide bar groove, chain, and motor vents (Image 9). Wipe down the body with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.
