Compatibility

Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to install your 2.5" HDD or SSD into the PS2 Fat console using the REUUY spacer.

1. Prepare the Hard Drive: Obtain a compatible 2.5" HDD or SSD.
2. Insert Drive into Spacer: Carefully align your 2.5" HDD or SSD with the REUUY spacer. The drive should clip into the spacer, with small nubs on the spacer designed to fit into the screw holes of the drive for a secure fit.

3. Connect to PS2 Hard Drive Adapter: Once the 2.5" drive is secured in the spacer, connect it to your PS2 hard drive adapter (not included). Ensure the electrical connections are firm.
4. Install into PS2 Console: Open the expansion bay cover on the back of your PlayStation 2 Fat console. Slide the assembled drive, spacer, and adapter into the 3.5" drive bay. The spacer ensures the 2.5" drive remains stable within this larger bay.

5. Secure the Assembly: Ensure the entire assembly (drive, spacer, adapter) is properly seated and secured within the PS2 console's expansion bay. Close the expansion bay cover.
