Setup
Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the rear of the radio (refer to Image 1).
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 4 AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- Press the Power button (usually marked with a power symbol) to turn the radio on or off.
AM/FM Radio Tuning
- Select Band: Press the BAND button to switch between AM and FM frequencies.
- Automatic Scan: To automatically scan and store available stations, press and hold the MEMO button. The radio will scan and save stations with strong signals.
- Manual Tuning: Use the M+ and M- buttons to manually tune to desired frequencies.
- Recall Presets: Briefly press the MEMO button to cycle through saved preset stations.
Volume Adjustment
- Rotate the volume knob (typically on the side) to increase or decrease the audio output.
Headphone Use
- Insert a standard 3.5mm earphone or headphone into the headphone jack for private listening. The speaker will automatically mute when headphones are connected.
LCD Display
- The 2.4-inch HD LCD display shows the current frequency, time, and date.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the radio with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or immerse the device in water.
- Battery Care: If the radio will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure batteries are correctly inserted and not depleted. Replace with fresh AA batteries if necessary.
- Poor Reception: Extend the antenna fully. Try repositioning the radio to improve signal strength. Perform an automatic station scan.
- No Sound: Check the volume level. Ensure headphones are not plugged in if you intend to use the speaker.
