Thank you for choosing the YIOU Air Purifier. This device is designed to significantly improve the air quality in your home or office, covering areas up to 547 ft². Equipped with an advanced 3-stage H13 True HEPA filtration system, it effectively captures airborne particles, odors, and allergens, providing a cleaner and healthier environment.

This manual provides detailed instructions for setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure you get the most out of your air purifier.

Important Safety Instructions

• Always ensure the air purifier is connected to a 110-120V power outlet. Using a different voltage may damage the device and void the warranty.
• Before first use, remove all plastic packaging from the filter inside the unit. Failure to do so will prevent proper air circulation and filtration.
• Place the air purifier on a firm, level surface, ensuring adequate space around all sides for optimal airflow. Avoid placing it directly against walls or furniture.
• Do not block air inlets or outlets. Keep the unit away from curtains, clothing, or other objects that could obstruct airflow.
• Unplug the air purifier from the power outlet before cleaning, performing maintenance, or when not in use for extended periods.
• Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord or plug is damaged, contact customer support for assistance.
• Keep the air purifier out of reach of children and pets. The child lock feature can be used to prevent accidental changes to settings.

3-Stage True HEPA Filter

The air purifier utilizes a comprehensive 3-stage filtration system to ensure thorough air purification:

1. Pre-Layer: Captures large airborne particles such as dust, lint, fibers, and pet fur.
2. H13 True HEPA Layer: Traps 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns, including pollen, dust mites, and pet dander.
3. Activated Carbon Layer: Absorbs various household odors, smoke, cooking smells, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

Control Panel

The control panel is located on the top of the unit and features intuitive touch controls and indicator lights.

Setup

1. Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging.
2. Prepare the Filter: The filter comes pre-installed but is sealed in plastic packaging. To access the filter compartment, turn the unit upside down. Locate the filter cover at the bottom and open it. Remove the filter and peel off all plastic packaging.
3. Reinstall the Filter: Place the unwrapped filter back into the unit, ensuring it is seated correctly. Close the filter cover securely.
4. Position the Purifier: Place the air purifier in your desired location. For optimal performance, ensure there is at least 6 inches of space around all sides of the unit to allow for proper air intake and output.
5. Connect to Power: Plug the power cord into a standard 110-120V AC outlet.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

Press the ⏻ (Power) button to turn the air purifier on or off.

Fan Speed Adjustment

Press the 💨 (Fan Speed) button repeatedly to cycle through the available fan speeds: Low, Mid, High, and Auto.

• Low: Ideal for quiet operation and continuous purification.
• Mid: Suitable for everyday use and moderate air purification.
• High: Provides maximum purification for rapid air cleaning.
• Auto: The purifier automatically adjusts fan speed based on detected air quality.

Real-time Air Quality Indicator

The built-in high-precision laser sensor detects airborne particles and indicates air quality through a color-coded light on the unit:

• Green: Excellent air quality.
• Yellow: Good air quality.
• Red: Poor air quality.

Sleep Mode

Press the ☾ (Sleep Mode) button to activate sleep mode. In this mode, the fan operates at its lowest speed (20dB) for ultra-quiet operation, and the indicator lights are dimmed or turned off to ensure a peaceful sleeping environment.

Light Control

Press the 💡 (Light Control) button to adjust the brightness of the control panel lights or turn them off completely.

Timer Function

Press the ⟳ (Timer) button repeatedly to set the desired operating time: 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, or 8 hours. The purifier will automatically turn off once the set time has elapsed.

Child Lock

To activate the Child Lock, press and hold the ⟳ (Timer) and ☾ (Sleep Mode) buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. The control panel will become unresponsive to prevent accidental changes. To deactivate, repeat the same action.

Maintenance

Filter Replacement

The H13 True HEPA filter should be replaced every 3 to 6 months, depending on usage and air quality. A filter replacement indicator light on the control panel will illuminate when it's time to change the filter.

To replace the filter, turn off and unplug the unit. Turn it upside down, open the filter cover, remove the old filter, and insert a new one (YIOU Replacement Filter, Model B0972641SV). Close the cover and plug the unit back in. Press and hold the filter reset button (usually the Timer or Fan Speed button, refer to specific model instructions if different) for 3-5 seconds to reset the filter life indicator.

Cleaning the Unit

Wipe the exterior of the air purifier with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. For the pre-filter, it can be gently brushed or vacuumed to remove accumulated dust and debris between replacements.
