3. Setup & Installation
This LED recessed downlight is designed for simple retrofit installation into existing 5-inch or 6-inch recessed can housings. Ensure the power is OFF at the circuit breaker before starting.
Installation Steps:
- Install the Springs: The springs need to be manually installed onto the fixture. Ensure they are securely attached.
- Thread the E26 Base: Screw the E26 base adapter into the existing E26 socket inside your recessed can.
- Connect TP24 Adaptor: Connect the TP24 adaptor from the fixture to the E26 base adapter. Ensure a secure connection.
- Hook Spring Clips & Push: Gently push the spring clips upwards and insert the fixture into the recessed can. The springs will hold the fixture flush against the ceiling.
Important Note: The minimum depth of the existing recessed can must be 6.3 inches (160mm). Please confirm your can depth before purchase. Ensure screws are installed correctly and do not overtighten to prevent breakage.
