2. Safety Instructions
- Always place the diffuser on a stable, flat, and water-resistant surface.

4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.
4.2 Placement
Place the diffuser on a flat, stable surface away from electronic devices, furniture, and direct sunlight. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper mist dispersion.

4.3 Filling the Water Tank
- Remove the top cover of the diffuser.
- Using a measuring cup, carefully pour clean tap water into the water tank. Do not exceed the 'MAX' fill line.
- Add 2-3 drops of your preferred essential oil directly into the water tank. Adjust the quantity based on desired aroma intensity.
- Replace the top cover securely.

4.4 Connecting Power
Connect the power adapter to the diffuser's power input port, then plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
Press the Power button on the front panel to turn the diffuser on or off. The LED display will illuminate when the device is on.
5.2 Setting Operating Modes
Press the 'Mode' button to cycle through the three mist intensity settings: Low, Medium, and High. The selected mode will be indicated on the LED display.
5.3 Timer Function
Press the 'Timer' button to set the desired operating duration (e.g., 1H, 3H, 6H, 12H). The diffuser will automatically shut off once the set time has elapsed.
5.4 LED Light Control
Press the 'Light' button to activate the LED lighting. Press again to cycle through the 7 available colors or select a random color changing mode. Press and hold to turn off the light.
5.5 Bluetooth Speaker Function
- Ensure the diffuser is powered on.
- On your smartphone or Bluetooth-enabled device, search for 'PureAroma 550' in the Bluetooth settings.
- Pair with the device. Once connected, you can play audio through the diffuser's integrated speaker.
5.6 Smartphone App Control
Download the official Cecotec app from your device's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your PureAroma 550 diffuser. The app allows for remote control of all functions, including power, mist modes, timer, LED lights, and alarm settings.

5.7 Alarm Function
Using the LED display controls or the smartphone app, set a specific alarm time. The diffuser will activate at the set time, releasing mist and aroma to gently wake you or signal an event.
6. Maintenance
Regular cleaning is essential to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your diffuser.
6.1 Daily Maintenance
- After each use, unplug the device and empty any remaining water from the tank.
- Wipe the inside of the water tank with a clean, soft cloth.
6.2 Weekly Cleaning
- Unplug the diffuser and remove the top cover.
- Pour out any remaining water.
- Add 1 tablespoon of white vinegar to the water tank and fill with water up to half capacity.
- Let it sit for 30-60 minutes to loosen mineral buildup.
- Carefully drain the water and wipe the tank and ultrasonic plate with a soft cloth or cotton swab. Do not scrub the ultrasonic plate.
- Rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water.
- Wipe the exterior of the diffuser with a soft, damp cloth.
- Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.
Important: Do not use harsh detergents, abrasive cleaners, or sharp objects to clean the diffuser, as this may damage the unit.
