4. Setup and Assembly

4.1 Important Pre-Assembly Step

Before installing the gas lift, ensure you remove the black plastic cap from the top of the cylinder. Failure to do so will prevent the chair from adjusting height.

4.2 Assembly Steps

Follow these steps to assemble your chair:

1. Attach Casters to Base: Insert the five casters (wheels) into the holes at the end of each leg of the metal star base. Push firmly until they click into place.
2. Insert Gas Lift: Place the large end of the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the assembled star base.
3. Attach Mechanism to Seat: Align the seat plate mechanism (the part with the levers) to the underside of the seat cushion. Ensure the front of the mechanism faces the front of the seat. Secure with the provided screws, tightening them partially first, then fully tightening all screws once aligned.
4. Attach Backrest to Seat: Align the backrest to the seat cushion. Secure the iron sheet (if separate) and the backrest to the seat mechanism using the appropriate screws. Half-tighten screws initially to allow for adjustment, then fully tighten all screws once the backrest is properly aligned and stable.
5. Attach Armrests: Attach the armrests to both the seat and the backrest using the designated screws. Half-tighten screws first. If armrest holes and screws cannot be aligned, gently press the backrest or seat cushion to align them. Fully tighten all armrest screws once both armrests are in place and aligned.
6. Connect Seat Assembly to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the top of the gas lift cylinder. Press down firmly to secure.

5. Operating Your Chair

Your Yaheetech Office Desk Chair offers several adjustable features to customize your seating experience.

5.1 Height Adjustment

To adjust the seat height, locate the lever on the right side under the seat. While seated, pull the lever upwards to lower the seat. To raise the seat, stand up slightly and pull the lever upwards. Release the lever at your desired height.

5.2 Rocking and Tilt Function

The chair features a rocking function for added comfort. Pull the lever on the right side (the same one for height adjustment) outwards to activate the rocking motion. Push the lever inwards to lock the chair in an upright position.

To adjust the tilt tension, rotate the round knob located under the center of the seat. Turn clockwise to increase tension (making it harder to rock) and counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to rock).
