4. Setup

Installation Guide

  1. Insert SD Card: Ensure the provided 64GB SD card is securely inserted into the TF card slot on the dash cam.

  2. Mount the Dash Cam: Attach the suction mount to a clean, dry area on your windshield, ensuring it does not obstruct your view. Secure the main dash cam unit to the mount.

  3. Connect Power: Plug the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket and connect the mini-USB end to the dash cam's power input. Route the cable neatly using the provided clips and pry tool.
  4. Install Rear Camera: Connect the rear camera cable to the main unit. Install the rear camera on the rear windshield or near the license plate. Ensure the cable is routed safely and discreetly. The rear camera is waterproof.

5. Operating Instructions

Basic Operation

  • Power On/Off: The dash cam automatically powers on when your vehicle starts and powers off when the engine is turned off.
  • Recording: Once powered on, the dash cam automatically begins recording. A red flashing dot on the screen indicates active recording.
  • Mode Switching: Use the 'M' (Menu) button to switch between recording mode, playback mode, and settings mode.
  • Screen Display: The screen can display views from the front, cabin, or a split view. Use the arrow buttons to cycle through display options.

Advanced Features

  • G-Sensor: The built-in G-sensor detects sudden shakes or collisions and automatically locks the current video footage to prevent it from being overwritten during loop recording.

  • Loop Recording: The dash cam records continuously. When the memory card is full, the newest video automatically overwrites the oldest unlocked video. Locked videos are protected.
  • 24-Hour Parking Monitoring: With the optional hardwire kit (ASIN: B07Q29JZZY), the dash cam can monitor your vehicle 24/7. It will automatically start recording if an impact is detected while parked.
