4. Installation

4.1 Site Selection and Mounting

The Thermoflow Mini Tankless Water Heater is designed for point-of-use applications, typically under or over a sink. It can be mounted vertically or upside down.

4.2 Plumbing Connections

Connect the water heater to your cold water supply and hot water faucet using 1/2" NPT pipe fittings. Ensure all connections are secure and leak-free. It is recommended to install a shut-off valve on the cold water inlet line for future maintenance.

4.3 Electrical Connections

This unit requires a hard-wired electrical connection. Ensure the power is OFF at the main breaker before beginning any electrical work. Connect the unit to a dedicated 110-120 volt circuit with a 1 x 2-POLE 30 AMP breaker. Use 1 x 12 AWG wire for connections. If you are unsure about electrical wiring, consult a licensed electrician.
