These canless wafer pot lights feature 5 selectable color temperatures, smooth dimming capabilities, and are IC-rated for safe installation near insulation.

• Do not open the fixture or junction box. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.

5. Installation Instructions

Follow these steps for proper installation of your CycevSun recessed lights. Ensure power is disconnected before beginning.

5.1 Pre-Installation

• Turn off power at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
• Use the provided cut-hole template to mark the desired location on the ceiling. The recommended cut-hole size is 6.2-6.5 inches.
• Cut the hole in the ceiling using a suitable tool.
• Select your desired color temperature (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K) using the switch on the side of the junction box before installation.

5.2 Wiring

1. Open the junction box cover.
2. Remove the appropriate knockout(s) for your wiring.
3. Insert the electrical supply cable into the junction box and secure it with the provided snap-in bushing.
4. Connect the wires: Connect the black wire from the supply to the black wire in the junction box, the white wire from the supply to the white wire in the junction box, and the ground wire from the supply to the green wire in the junction box. Use the included wire nuts to secure connections.
5. Close the junction box cover and ensure it is securely fastened.

5.3 Mounting

1. Connect the male and female connectors between the recessed light fixture and the junction box. Ensure a tight connection.
2. Push the junction box up through the ceiling hole.
3. Push the spring clips on the light fixture upwards and insert the fixture into the ceiling hole. The clips will hold the fixture securely in place.
4. Ensure the fixture is flush with the ceiling.

5.4 Recommended Spacing

For optimal general lighting with 6-inch lights, a spacing of 5-7 feet between fixtures is recommended.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Color Temperature Selection (5CCT)

The color temperature can be selected prior to installation using the switch located on the side of the junction box. Choose from 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K to match your desired ambiance.

6.2 Dimming Function

These recessed lights are designed to be smoothly dimmable from 100% down to 5% brightness. To utilize the dimming feature, connect the lights to a compatible LED dimmer switch (not included).
