Setup

Operating Instructions

Step 2: Fine Honing (for finishing and regular maintenance)

1. After coarse sharpening, or for blades that only require light maintenance, insert the heel of the knife blade into the Fine Ceramic slot (labeled 'Fine Ceramic').
2. Using light, consistent downward pressure, pull the knife blade through the slot from heel to tip.
3. Repeat this action 5-10 times, or until the desired sharpness is achieved and the burr is removed.

Note: The coarse carbide stage removes more material and should be used sparingly, primarily for very dull or damaged edges. The fine ceramic stage is for refining the edge and regular touch-ups.

Maintenance
