6. Setup and Installation
Important: Before commencing installation, ensure the main power supply to the circuit is switched off at the consumer unit/fuse box. If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician.

7. Operating Instructions
PIR Motion Sensor Mode:
The integrated PIR sensor detects movement and activates the light. The daylight sensor ensures the motion detection function only operates in darkness. The illumination time is adjustable up to 5 minutes.
- Adjusting Illumination Time: Locate the time adjustment dial/switch on the sensor (refer to product diagram if available). Rotate to set the desired duration the light stays on after motion is detected (up to 5 minutes).
- Adjusting Sensitivity (if available): Some models may have a sensitivity adjustment. If present, adjust to control the range at which motion is detected.
Dusk-to-Dawn Mode:
This mode automatically turns the light on at dusk and off at dawn, providing continuous illumination throughout the night.
- Activating Dusk-to-Dawn Mode: To set this mode, turn the main power switch (wall switch) for the light OFF and then ON twice in quick succession. The light will then operate in Dusk-to-Dawn mode.
- Switching Back to PIR Mode: To revert to PIR motion sensor mode, repeat the process: turn the main power switch OFF and then ON twice.
Note: The daylight sensor ensures that the PIR motion sensor function will only activate in low light conditions, preventing unnecessary operation during the day.
