2. Setup
2.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove the safe from its packaging. Inspect the safe for any signs of damage. Ensure all components listed in the packing list are present.
2.2 Battery Installation
The digital keypad requires 4 AA batteries for operation. These batteries power the electronic locking mechanism.
- Locate the battery compartment on the inside of the safe door.
- Remove the battery cover.
- Insert 4 new AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Replace the battery cover securely.

2.3 Initial Opening (with Emergency Key)
Before using the digital keypad, you must open the safe using the emergency key to install batteries and set your personal code.
- Locate the backup key cover on the digital keypad.
- Gently remove the backup key cover.
- Insert the emergency key into the keyhole.
- Turn the key counter-clockwise, then turn the knob clockwise to open the door.
- Important: Keep emergency keys outside the safe. Do not lock them inside.

2.4 Mounting the Safe
The RPNB safe features pre-drilled mounting holes and includes mounting hardware for secure installation in a closet, shelf, or on a wall.
- Choose a suitable location for your safe.
- Mark the positions for the mounting holes on the desired surface (floor, wall, or shelf).
- Drill pilot holes using an appropriate drill bit.
- Align the safe with the drilled holes and secure it using the provided mounting hardware.

3. Operating the Safe
3.1 Programming a New Digital Code
You can program a new digital code between 3 and 8 digits long.
- With the safe door open, press the red 'PROGRAM' button located on the inside of the door, near the battery compartment. A green light will illuminate, and the safe will beep once.
- Enter your new 3 to 8 digit code on the keypad.
- Press the 'CONFIRM' button (usually marked with a checkmark or 'V'). The green light will flash, and the safe will beep, confirming the new code is set.
- Test the new code with the door open to ensure it works correctly before closing the safe.

3.2 Opening the Safe with Digital Code
- Enter your programmed digital code on the keypad.
- Press the 'CONFIRM' button. A green light will illuminate, and the safe will beep.
- Within 5 seconds, turn the knob clockwise to open the door.
3.3 Closing and Locking the Safe
- Close the safe door firmly.
- Turn the knob counter-clockwise to engage the locking bolts.
- The safe is now locked.
3.4 Silence Mode
To operate the safe in silent mode (without beeps), press the 'VOICE' button (usually marked with a speaker icon). The green light will illuminate once to confirm silent mode is active.
4. Maintenance
4.1 Battery Replacement
When the batteries are low, the yellow indicator light will illuminate during operation. Replace all 4 AA batteries promptly to ensure continuous functionality. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 2.2.
4.2 Cleaning
Clean the exterior of the safe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.
5. Troubleshooting
- Safe does not open with digital code:

- Verify the code entered is correct.
- If three incorrect codes are entered consecutively, the safe will lock for 20 seconds. If three more incorrect codes are entered, it will lock for 5 minutes.
- Use the emergency key to open the safe if the digital code fails.
- Low Battery Warning:
- The yellow indicator light signals low battery. Replace all 4 AA batteries immediately.
- If batteries completely drain, use the emergency key to open the safe and replace them.
- Keypad unresponsive:
