1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the assembly, operation, and maintenance of your SANHENG Waterproof Gazebo. Please read these instructions carefully before assembly and retain them for future reference. This gazebo is designed for temporary outdoor use, providing shelter from sun and light rain.

2. Safety Information

• Ensure all components are securely connected during assembly.
• Do not use the gazebo in strong winds, heavy rain, or snow. Disassemble and store the gazebo in adverse weather conditions to prevent damage and ensure safety.
• Keep away from open flames and heat sources.
• Always anchor the gazebo using the provided pegs and ropes to prevent it from lifting or moving.
• Supervise children around the gazebo.

3. Package Contents

Verify that all parts are present before beginning assembly. The package for the 3x3m gazebo typically includes:

4. Setup Instructions

Assembly can typically be completed by one or two people without specialized tools. Follow these steps for proper installation:

1. Step 1: Assemble the Roof Frame. Lay out the steel tubes and connectors. Connect the roof frame tubes to form the top structure of the gazebo. Ensure all connections are secure.
2. Step 2: Attach the Canopy Cover. Carefully drape the top canopy cover over the assembled roof frame. Ensure it is centered and evenly distributed.
3. Step 3: Install the Legs. Attach the leg poles to the corners of the roof frame. Gradually extend the legs to raise the gazebo to its full height. Secure the canopy cover to the leg poles.
4. Step 4: Secure the Gazebo. Use the provided ground pegs to anchor the gazebo legs to the ground. Attach the ropes to the corners of the roof frame and stake them into the ground at an angle to provide additional stability.
5. Step 5: Attach Sidewalls. If desired, attach the sidewalls using the hook-and-loop fasteners or ties provided. The sidewalls include two with clear window panels and two with zippered entrances for versatile use.

5. Operating Instructions

• Sidewall Usage: The four sidewalls can be attached or removed as needed. The zippered sidewalls allow for easy entry and exit, while the windowed sidewalls provide light and visibility.
• Ventilation: For optimal airflow, remove some or all sidewalls.
• Sun Protection: The canopy and sidewalls offer protection from direct sunlight.
• Water Resistance: The PE fabric is waterproof, providing shelter during light rain. However, it is not designed for heavy downpours or prolonged exposure to wet conditions.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Clean the canopy and sidewalls with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Allow all parts to dry completely before storage.
• Frame Care: Inspect the steel frame periodically for any signs of rust or damage. Clean any dirt or debris from the frame.
• Storage: When not in use, disassemble the gazebo and store all components in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. This will prolong the lifespan of the product.

• Gazebo is unstable: Ensure all frame connections are fully engaged. Verify that ground pegs are securely inserted and ropes are taut and properly anchored. Disassemble in high winds.
• Canopy does not fit properly: Check that the frame is assembled correctly and that the canopy is oriented in the right direction. Ensure it is evenly stretched over the frame.
• Water pooling on canopy: Ensure the canopy is taut and properly secured to allow water to run off. In heavy rain, water pooling can occur and may require temporary removal of the canopy.
