Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for quick and easy installation of your KAIYING Handheld Shower Head. No special tools are required.

  1. Prepare the Shower Arm: Remove your existing shower head from the shower arm. Clean any residue from the shower arm threads. It is recommended to apply plumber's tape (Teflon tape) to the threads of the shower arm for a secure, leak-free seal.
  2. Attach Adjustable Angle Bracket: Screw the adjustable brass ball joint shower mount diverter onto the shower arm by hand. Ensure it is tightened securely but do not overtighten.
  3. Connect Shower Hose to Mount: Connect the HEX NUT end of the stainless steel shower hose to the shower mount. Ensure the rubber gasket is properly seated inside the nut before tightening by hand.
  4. Connect Shower Head to Hose: Connect the CONICAL NUT end of the shower hose to the handheld shower head. Again, ensure the rubber gasket is in place and tighten by hand.
  5. Test for Leaks: Turn on the water supply and check all connections for leaks. If any leaks occur, tighten the connections slightly until they stop.

  2. Rinse the panel under running water to remove loose debris.
  3. For stubborn mineral deposits, soak the panel in a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water for 30 minutes.
  4. Use a soft brush (like an old toothbrush) to gently scrub the nozzles and surface of the panel.
  5. Rinse thoroughly and reattach the panel by twisting it back onto the shower head until secure.
