5. Operating Instructions: Crib Conversions

The Calder crib offers four configurations to adapt to your child's developmental stages.

5.1. Crib Mode

This is the initial configuration for infants. Ensure the mattress support is set to an appropriate height for your child's age and mobility. The highest position is for newborns, and it should be lowered as your child grows and becomes more active.

5.2. Toddler Bed Conversion

When your child is ready to transition from a crib, typically when they begin to climb out, you can convert the crib to a toddler bed. This requires the purchase of the Child Craft Toddler Guard Rail (Item Number: F09501), sold separately. Follow the instructions provided with the guard rail for safe installation.

  • Wobbly or Unstable Crib: Ensure all bolts and screws are fully tightened. Re-check the assembly steps to confirm all parts are correctly installed.
  • Missing Parts: If any parts are missing from your package, do not attempt to assemble the crib. Contact Child Craft customer support immediately for replacement parts.
