Troubleshooting

  • Camera not powering on: Check battery installation and ensure batteries are fresh. Verify the ON/OFF switch is in the 'ON' or 'SETUP' position.
  • Poor image/video quality: Ensure the lens is clean. Check settings for resolution and quality. Low light conditions will result in black and white night vision footage.
  • WiFi connection issues: Ensure you are within close range of the camera. Verify the camera's WiFi is activated. Restart both the camera and your smartphone's WiFi.
  • No motion detection: Adjust PIR sensitivity settings. Ensure no obstructions are blocking the PIR sensors. Test the camera in different locations.
  • Short battery life: Use high-quality alkaline or rechargeable batteries. Reduce video length or photo burst settings. Extreme cold weather can also reduce battery performance.
  • SD card errors: Format the SD card in the camera's menu. Try a different Class 10 SD card (up to 64GB).
