Important Safety Instructions

  • Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.

Components:

  • Main Unit: Houses the heating element and control panel.
  • Grill Grate: High-density grate for char-grilled marks and flavor.

Setup and First Use

  1. Unpack: Remove all packaging materials, stickers, and tags from the unit and accessories.
  2. Clean Components: Wash the grill grate, crisper basket, cooking pot, and splatter shield in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. The main unit should be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
  3. Assemble:
    • Place the cooking pot into the main unit.
    • Insert the splatter shield into the main unit, ensuring it sits securely above the heating element.
    • Place either the grill grate or crisper basket into the cooking pot, depending on your desired cooking function.
  4. Placement: Place the appliance on a clean, dry, level surface. Ensure there is adequate space (at least 6 inches) from walls or other appliances for proper ventilation.
  5. Pre-heat (Optional but Recommended): For optimal results, especially when grilling, pre-heat the unit for 5-10 minutes before adding food. This helps achieve better searing and cooking performance.

Operating Instructions

The Ninja AG300 offers four primary cooking functions: Grill, Air Crisp, Roast, and Bake.

1. Grill Function

Use the Grill function for char-grilled results indoors. The Cyclonic Grilling Technology circulates 500°F air for even cooking and searing.

  1. Ensure the cooking pot and grill grate are installed.
  2. Close the lid and plug in the unit.
  3. Press the GRILL button. The default temperature will display.
  4. Use the TEMP arrows to adjust the temperature (Low, Med, High, Max).
  5. Use the TIME arrows to set the cooking time.
  6. Press the START/STOP button to begin preheating. The unit will display "PRE" and a progress bar.
  7. Once preheating is complete, the unit will beep and display "ADD FOOD". Open the lid and carefully place your food on the grill grate.
  8. Close the lid to resume cooking. The timer will begin counting down.
  9. Flip food halfway through cooking for best results.

2. Air Crisp Function

Achieve crispy results with little to no oil using the Air Crisp function.

  1. Ensure the cooking pot and crisper basket are installed.
  2. Close the lid and plug in the unit.
  3. Press the AIR CRISP button. The default temperature and time will display.
  4. Use the TEMP arrows to adjust the temperature.
  5. Use the TIME arrows to set the cooking time.
  6. Press the START/STOP button to begin preheating.
  7. Once preheating is complete, the unit will beep and display "ADD FOOD". Open the lid and carefully place your food in the crisper basket.
  8. Close the lid to resume cooking. Shake or toss food halfway through for even crisping.

3. Roast Function

Use the Roast function for tender meats and vegetables.

  1. Ensure the cooking pot is installed. You may use the crisper basket or place food directly in the pot, depending on the recipe.
  2. Close the lid and plug in the unit.
  3. Press the ROAST button. Adjust temperature and time as needed.
  4. Press START/STOP to begin.
  5. Add food when prompted or after preheating.

4. Bake Function

The Bake function is suitable for preparing baked goods, casseroles, and more.

  1. Ensure the cooking pot is installed. You may use a baking pan that fits inside the cooking pot.
  2. Close the lid and plug in the unit.
  3. Press the BAKE button. Adjust temperature and time as needed.
  4. Press START/STOP to begin.
  5. Add food when prompted or after preheating.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your Ninja AG300.

  • Always unplug the unit from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Cooking Pot, Grill Grate, Crisper Basket, Splatter Shield: These components are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, they can be washed by hand with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. For stubborn food residue, soak in warm water before cleaning.
  • Main Unit: Wipe the main unit clean with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
  • Cleaning Brush: Use the included cleaning brush to remove food from the grill grate grooves.
  • Non-Stick Coating: To protect the non-stick coating, avoid using metal utensils or abrasive cleaning tools.

Troubleshooting
