Key Settings

  • Refresh Rate: Set to 144Hz for the smoothest gaming experience. This can usually be adjusted in your operating system's display settings or the monitor's OSD.
  • AMD FreeSync Premium: Enable this feature in the OSD and your graphics card settings to synchronize the monitor's refresh rate with your GPU's frame rate, reducing screen tearing and stuttering.
  • HDR10: Activate HDR in your device's display settings and the monitor's OSD for enhanced contrast and color depth in compatible content.
  • Response Time (GtG): Adjust the 'Response Time' setting in the OSD (e.g., to 'Fast' or 'Faster') to minimize motion blur. Note that 'Faster' settings might introduce minor overshoot artifacts.
  • Game Mode: Utilize preset game modes (e.g., FPS, RTS) available in the OSD to optimize visual settings for specific game genres.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean the monitor screen, gently wipe it with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive screen cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals, alcohol, or ammonia-based cleaners, as these can damage the screen surface. For the monitor casing, use a soft, dry cloth.

General Care

Keep the monitor in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating. Avoid placing heavy objects on the monitor or its cables. Protect the screen from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. When moving the monitor, handle it carefully by the edges of the panel or the stand to prevent damage.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

  • No Display/Black Screen: Check if the monitor is powered on and the power cable is securely connected. Verify that the video cable (DisplayPort/HDMI) is firmly connected to both the monitor and the source device. Ensure the correct input source is selected in the OSD menu.
  • Screen Flickering: This can sometimes be resolved by changing the video settings on your connected device (e.g., turning off 4K output if the monitor does not support it). Ensure your graphics drivers are up to date. If using FreeSync, try disabling and re-enabling it.
  • Poor Image Quality/Washed Out Colors: Adjust brightness, contrast, and color settings in the OSD menu. Ensure HDR is enabled only for compatible content and disabled otherwise, as incorrect HDR settings can lead to washed-out visuals.
  • No Sound: If using the monitor's audio output, ensure external speakers or headphones are connected correctly to the H/P Out port. Check the volume settings on both the monitor and your source device.
