  2. Water Connection: Connect the water supply hose. The appliance includes a safety system for the supply hose to prevent leaks.
  3. Drainage: Connect the drain hose to a suitable drain. Ensure there are no kinks in the hose.
  4. Electrical Connection: Connect the appliance to a grounded electrical outlet (220-240V ~ / 50Hz). Ensure the power connection is 1760-2100W and nominal current is 16A.
  5. Initial Setup: Before first use, fill the salt dispenser with dishwasher salt and the rinse aid dispenser with rinse aid. Refer to the "Maintenance" section for details.

The removable cover allows for under-counter installation.

Operating Instructions

1. Loading the Dishwasher

  • Scrape off large food particles from dishes.
  • Place dishes securely in the baskets, ensuring water can reach all surfaces.
  • Use the height-adjustable upper basket for taller items.
  • Utilize the cup shelves and foldable supports for glasses and plates as needed.
  • Place cutlery in the cutlery basket with handles down for most items, and handles up for knives and sharp utensils.

2. Adding Detergent and Rinse Aid

  • Open the detergent dispenser and add the recommended amount of dishwasher detergent.
  • Fill the rinse aid dispenser when the rinse aid indicator lights up.
  • If using Multi-TAB detergents, ensure the appropriate program is selected.

3. Program Selection

The GSP 7407 offers 6 washing programs:

4. Starting a Cycle

  • Press the Power button to turn on the dishwasher.
  • Select your desired wash program.
  • Optionally, use the Delay Start function (1-24 hours) to postpone the start of the cycle.
  • For smaller loads, activate the Half Load function to save water and energy.
  • Press the Start/Pause button to begin the cycle. The LED display will show the remaining time.

Maintenance and Care

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your dishwasher.

1. Cleaning the Filters

  • The filter system should be cleaned regularly to prevent blockages and ensure effective washing.
  • Remove the filter assembly at the bottom of the wash tub.
  • Rinse the filters under running water to remove food particles.
  • Reassemble and replace the filters correctly.

2. Refilling Salt and Rinse Aid

  • The dishwasher has indicators for low salt and rinse aid levels.
  • When the salt indicator lights up, refill the salt dispenser with dishwasher salt. This is crucial for the water softening system.
  • When the rinse aid indicator lights up, refill the rinse aid dispenser. Rinse aid helps with drying and prevents spots.

3. Cleaning the Interior and Exterior

  • Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
  • Clean the stainless steel interior with a soft cloth and mild detergent if necessary.
  • Periodically run a dishwasher cleaning cycle with a specialized cleaner.
