1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

Important Safety Precautions:

  • Consult your physician before starting any exercise program.

4. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your CITYSPORTS Foldable Exercise Bike:

  1. Attach Stabilizers: Secure the front and rear stabilizers to the main frame using the provided bolts and nuts. Ensure they are firmly attached for stability.
  2. Install Pedals: Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals. The left pedal screws counter-clockwise, and the right pedal screws clockwise. Tighten securely.
  3. Assemble Seat and Backrest: Attach the seat to the seat post, then attach the backrest to the designated support. Adjust the seat height to your preference.
  4. Mount Handlebars and Monitor: Connect the handlebar assembly to the main frame. Connect the sensor wires from the main frame to the LCD monitor. Secure the monitor to the handlebars.
  5. Final Check: Before first use, double-check all connections and ensure all bolts are tightened.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Adjusting Seat Height and Position

The exercise bike features 7 seat height levels for optimal comfort. To adjust, loosen the adjustment knob below the seat, slide the seat to the desired height, and re-tighten the knob securely. The backrest can also be removed if preferred.

5.2 Adjusting Resistance

The bike offers 8 levels of magnetic resistance. To increase or decrease the resistance, turn the resistance knob located on the main frame. Turn clockwise for higher resistance and counter-clockwise for lower resistance.

5.3 Using the LCD Monitor

The LCD monitor displays various workout data. It is battery-powered and automatically activates when you begin pedaling. The monitor tracks:

  • TIME: Duration of your workout.
  • SPEED: Current speed.
  • DISTANCE: Distance covered during the workout.
  • CALORIES: Estimated calories burned.
  • PULSE: Heart rate (measured by hand pulse sensors on the handlebars).
  • SCAN: Cycles through all metrics automatically.

To reset the monitor, press and hold the button on the monitor. The monitor will automatically turn off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.

5.4 Folding for Storage

To fold the bike for storage, loosen the main folding knob/pin located on the frame, carefully fold the bike inward until it is compact, and then secure the folding mechanism. The integrated transport wheels allow for easy movement.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your exercise bike.

  • Cleaning: Wipe down the bike with a damp cloth after each use to remove sweat and dust. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  • Lubrication: Periodically check for any squeaking noises. If detected, apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to moving parts as needed.
  • Tightness Check: Regularly check all bolts, nuts, and screws to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten if necessary.
  • Storage: Store the bike in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Replacement: If the LCD monitor display becomes dim or unresponsive, replace the batteries (typically AA or AAA, refer to monitor compartment for type).
