Maintenance and Care

Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your Svago ZGR Newton SV-630 chair.

  • Cleaning: Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, especially on leather surfaces.
  • Leather Care: For top grain leather, use a specialized leather cleaner and conditioner periodically to maintain its suppleness and prevent cracking.
  • Moving Parts: Periodically check all moving parts and connections for tightness. Do not lubricate internal mechanisms unless specified by the manufacturer.
  • Power Cord: Inspect the power cord regularly for any signs of damage. If damaged, discontinue use and contact customer support.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your chair, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Chair Not Responding:
    • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both the chair and the wall outlet.
    • Check if the remote control is powered on and its cable is properly connected.
    • Verify the wall outlet is functional by plugging in another device.
  • Headrest/Lumbar Support Not Holding Position:
    • Ensure the remote is active when adjusting these features. Some functions may require the remote to remain on.
    • If the issue persists, there may be an internal air bladder or pump issue. Contact customer support.
  • Unusual Noises During Operation:
    • Minor noises can occur during movement. If the noise is loud or persistent, inspect for any obstructions or loose components.
    • If the noise originates from internal mechanisms, contact customer support.
  • Massage/Heat Not Functioning:
    • Ensure the chair is powered on and the specific function is activated via the remote.
    • Check for any visible damage to the chair's upholstery that might affect internal components.
