1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and effective use of your uyled P120 RGB Handheld Photography Light. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the device and retain it for future reference.

2. Safety Information

• Do not disassemble or modify the device.
• Keep the device away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
• Use only the provided charging adapter and USB cable. Using incompatible chargers may damage the device.
• Ensure the charging port is dry before connecting the charger.
• Although IP68 waterproof, ensure all caps are securely fastened before submerging in water.
• Avoid direct eye exposure to the light source.

4. Product Overview

The uyled P120 is a versatile RGB LED video light wand designed for various photography and videography applications. It features APP control, 360° full color, 12 lighting modes, and IP68 waterproofing.

5. Setup

5.1. Charging the Device

The P120 light wand has a built-in 7.3V/10400mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery. Use the provided USB-C cable and power adapter to charge the device. A full charge provides approximately 5 hours of operation at 100% brightness.

• Connect the USB-C cable to the charging port on the light wand.
• Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to the power adapter.
• Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
• The charging indicator will show the charging status.

Note: The light wand can also function as a power bank to charge other devices.

5.2. Attaching the Mounting Bracket

The P120 comes with a universal rotating bracket for flexible positioning. This bracket allows the light to be installed on a tripod with a 1/4" screw.

1. Attach the flexible arm to the main mounting plate using the provided wrench.
2. Securely fasten the flexible arm to the mounting plate.
3. Insert the light wand into the clips on the mounting plate.
4. The bracket can then be attached to a tripod or other compatible support.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Basic Operation (Device Buttons)

The P120 light wand can be operated directly using the button on the device.

• Power On/Off: Press the button once to turn the light on. Press and hold the button to turn it off.
• Change Modes/Colors: Double-press the button to cycle through different color modes (Warm White, Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Purple, etc.) and special effects (e.g., police lights).
• Adjust Brightness: While a color or mode is active, press and hold the button to adjust the brightness. The brightness will cycle up and down. Release the button at the desired brightness level.

6.2. Remote Control

A simple remote control is included for basic functions:

• On/Off: Power the light on or off.
• Brightness: Adjust the light intensity.
• Color Options: Select from a few preset colors.
• Effects: Activate basic lighting effects.

Note: For full control and advanced features, use the mobile APP. Ensure the insulation clip is removed from the remote before use. The effective remote control distance is up to 7 meters.

6.3. APP Intelligent Control (Bluetooth)

The P120 light wand can be controlled via the Tuya Smart Application on your mobile phone, offering extensive control over colors, brightness, and scene modes.

1. Download the App: Scan the QR code provided in the product packaging or search for "Tuya Smart" in your device's app store. You can also visit smartapp.tuya.com/tuyasmart.
2. Enable Bluetooth Mode: Turn off the light wand. Then, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds until the light flashes, indicating it's in Bluetooth pairing mode.
3. Pair with App: Open the Tuya Smart app on your phone. The app should automatically detect the light wand. Follow the on-screen instructions to pair the device.
4. Control Features: Once paired, you can adjust brightness (1% to 100%), color temperature (3000K-5750K), select from 360° full RGB colors, and choose from various scene modes. You can also control multiple lights simultaneously or individually.

• RGB Full Color: Offers 360° full color spectrum with 36000 adjustable colors via the APP.
• Color Temperature: Adjustable from 3000K (warm white) to 5750K (cool white).
• High CRI: Color Rendering Index (CRI) of ≥95 ensures accurate color reproduction.
• 12 Lighting Modes: Includes various special supplementary lighting modes such as lightning, sunrise, police vehicle flashing lights, and more.
• IP68 Waterproof: Designed to be waterproof up to 7 meters underwater, suitable for underwater photography.

8. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the light wand with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth and then dry thoroughly. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use the provided handbag for protection during transport and storage.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
