4. Setup and Installation

The vidaXL Picture Frame Ledge Shelves are designed for easy wall mounting. No assembly of the shelves themselves is required.

Required Tools (Not Included):

• Pencil
• Measuring Tape
• Level
• Drill with appropriate drill bit for wall anchors
• Screwdriver (Phillips head recommended)
• Mounting hardware (screws and wall anchors suitable for your wall type and the weight of the shelves plus intended contents)

Installation Steps:

1. Determine Placement: Choose the desired location on your wall for the shelves. Use a pencil to mark the approximate position.
2. Measure and Mark: Hold one shelf against the wall at the desired height. Use a level to ensure it is straight. Mark the positions of the keyholes on the back of the shelf onto the wall with a pencil.

3. Drill Pilot Holes: Using an appropriate drill bit for your wall anchors, drill pilot holes at the marked locations.
4. Insert Wall Anchors: Insert the wall anchors into the pilot holes until they are flush with the wall surface.
5. Install Screws: Drive screws into the wall anchors, leaving a small portion of the screw head exposed (approximately 1/4 inch or 6mm). The screw head should be small enough to fit through the larger part of the keyhole but large enough to catch on the narrower slot.
6. Mount Shelf: Align the keyholes on the back of the shelf with the exposed screw heads. Slide the shelf down so the screws engage with the narrower part of the keyholes, securing the shelf to the wall. Gently pull on the shelf to ensure it is firmly attached.
7. Repeat for Second Shelf: Follow the same steps to install the second shelf, ensuring proper spacing and alignment if installing them together.

5. Usage

These shelves are ideal for displaying a variety of decorative items and picture frames. The integrated front edge helps to prevent items from sliding off.

• Display Items: Arrange picture frames, small plants, figurines, or other decorative objects on the shelves.
