4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Device

  1. Locate the USB charging port on the side of the LED video light.
  2. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the light and to a USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port, power bank).
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. A full charge typically takes 1.5 hours.

4.2 Mounting the LED Video Light

The Suptig LED Video Light can be mounted on various cameras using the included accessories.

4.2.1 Mounting on Action Cameras (e.g., GoPro)

  1. Attach the quick release mount to your action camera's mounting points using the thumbscrew.
  2. Slide the LED video light onto the cold shoe adapter of the camera mounting bracket.
  3. Secure the light by tightening the knob on the cold shoe adapter.

4.2.2 Mounting on DSLR Cameras

  1. Locate the hot shoe mount on top of your DSLR camera.
  2. Slide the base of the LED video light into the camera's hot shoe.
  3. Tighten the locking wheel on the light's base to secure it firmly to the camera.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the mode button (circular button on the back) for a few seconds to turn the light on or off.

5.2 Adjusting Color Temperature

Once the light is on, short press the mode button to cycle through the three color temperature settings: 8000K (White), 5250K (Natural), and 2500K (Warm).

5.3 Adjusting Brightness

While the light is on, long press the mode button to adjust the brightness level. The light will cycle from minimum to maximum brightness. Release the button when the desired brightness is reached. The light will flash once when it reaches the brightest or darkest setting.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the light. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: Store the light in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.

  • Light not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the light to a power source using the USB cable.
  • Light not charging: Check the USB cable and power source connections. Try a different USB cable or power adapter.
