Operating Instructions
Adjusting Mattress Height:
The crib features 2 adjustable mattress height positions to accommodate your growing child. Always use the lowest position once your child can sit up unassisted or pull themselves to a standing position.
- Higher Position: For newborns and infants who cannot yet push up on their hands and knees.
- Lower Position: For infants who can sit up, crawl, or pull themselves to a standing position.
To adjust the mattress height, carefully remove the mattress support, reposition it to the desired height, and re-secure all fasteners according to the assembly instructions.

Conversion to Toddler Bed, Daybed, and Full-Size Bed:
Follow the specific instructions provided with the optional conversion kits (sold separately) for safe and proper transformation of your crib into a toddler bed, daybed, or full-size bed. Ensure all original crib hardware is stored safely for potential future reassembly.
Maintenance and Care
To maintain the quality and appearance of your Child Craft Kieran crib:
- Wipe surfaces with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or strong chemicals, as they may damage the finish.
- Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight. Loose hardware can compromise the crib's stability and safety.
- Avoid exposing the crib to extreme temperature changes or direct sunlight, which can cause wood to warp or fade.
Troubleshooting
- Loose Parts: If any parts feel loose, re-tighten all screws and bolts. Do not overtighten.
- Squeaking: Check all joints and fasteners. A small amount of silicone lubricant can be applied to metal-on-metal contact points if squeaking persists, ensuring it is baby-safe and not accessible to the child.
- Wobbly Frame: Ensure the crib is on a level surface and all assembly steps have been followed correctly. Re-check all connections.
