4.1. Controls and Ports

5. Setup
5.1. Charging the Speaker
- Connect the small end of the provided USB charging cable to the charging port on the speaker.
- Connect the larger end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator light (if present) will illuminate, typically red, during charging.
- Charging time is approximately 2 hours. The indicator light will usually turn off or change color when fully charged.
Note: For optimal battery life, fully charge the speaker before first use.
5.2. Powering On/Off
- To power on, press and hold the Power Button for a few seconds until you hear an audible prompt or see an indicator light.
- To power off, press and hold the Power Button again for a few seconds until the speaker shuts down.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Bluetooth Mode
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode. If not, press the Mode Button until you hear a "Bluetooth Mode" prompt or similar. The Bluetooth indicator light will typically flash, indicating it's ready for pairing.
- On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "KMS-222" (or similar name) from the list of found devices.
- Once paired, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the Bluetooth indicator light will become solid.
- You can now play audio from your device through the speaker.
Note: The Bluetooth connection distance is approximately 10 meters (33 feet).
6.2. USB/TF Card Playback
- Insert a USB flash drive or a TF (MicroSD) card into the respective port on the speaker.
- The speaker should automatically switch to USB or TF card mode and begin playing audio files. If not, press the Mode Button to select the correct mode.
- Use the Play/Pause, Next Track, and Previous Track buttons to control playback.
6.3. FM Radio Mode
- Press the Mode Button to switch to FM Radio mode.
- To auto-scan and save available radio stations, press and hold the Play/Pause Button. The speaker will scan and store stations automatically.
- Use the Next Track and Previous Track buttons to navigate between saved stations.
Tip: For better FM reception, connect the AUX cable to the AUX port; it can act as an antenna.
6.4. AUX Mode
- Connect one end of the provided AUX cable to the AUX input port on the speaker.
- Connect the other end of the AUX cable to the headphone jack or audio output of your external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, laptop).
- The speaker should automatically switch to AUX mode. If not, press the Mode Button to select AUX mode.
- Control audio playback directly from your connected device.
6.5. Volume Control
- Press the Volume Up Button to increase the volume.
- Press the Volume Down Button to decrease the volume.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the speaker. Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or chemical solvents.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the speaker regularly, even if not in use.
8. Troubleshooting
