Safety Instructions

Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your meat grinder before first use.

  1. Ensure the motor unit is unplugged and placed on a stable surface.
  2. Attach the grinding head to the motor unit, ensuring it is securely locked in place.
  3. Insert the auger (feeding screw) into the grinding head.
  4. Place the grinder knife onto the end of the auger, ensuring the sharp edge faces outwards towards the grinding plate. Important: Do not put the blade in the wrong place. Refer to Figure 3.
  5. Select the desired grinding plate (4.5 mm for fine, 10 mm for coarse) and place it over the grinder knife.
  6. Screw on the fixing ring tightly to secure the plate and knife.
  7. Place the large meat pan on top of the grinding head.

Operating Instructions

Meat Grinding

Prepare meat by cutting it into pieces that fit easily into the feeding opening. Remove any bones or excessive sinew that could cause blockages.

  1. Ensure the machine is correctly assembled for grinding with the desired plate.
  2. Switch the control knob to the "L" (Low) position and plug in the machine.
  3. Place a suitable container under the grinding head to collect the ground meat.
  4. Carefully feed meat into the meat pan and use the stomper to push it down into the auger. Never use your hands or other utensils.
  5. The machine will process meat at approximately 14 lbs per minute.
  6. After grinding, switch the control knob to "Off" and unplug the machine.

Sausage Stuffing

To make sausages, you will need to change the grinding head configuration.

  1. Unplug the machine. Disassemble the grinding plate and knife.
  2. Attach the desired sausage stuffing tube to the grinding head.
  3. Prepare your sausage casing and slide it onto the stuffing tube.
  4. Switch the control knob to the "L" (Low) position and plug in the machine.
  5. Feed the prepared sausage mixture into the meat pan and use the stomper to push it through the machine.
  6. Guide the casing as it fills, ensuring even distribution and avoiding air pockets.
  7. Once finished, switch the control knob to "Off" and unplug the machine.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and hygienic operation of your meat grinder.

  1. Always unplug the machine before cleaning.
  2. Disassemble all removable parts: meat pan, grinding head, auger, knife, grinding plate, and stuffing tubes.
  3. Wash all disassembled parts with warm, soapy water. The stainless steel components are dishwasher safe. Refer to Figure 5.
  4. Use a brush to remove any stubborn meat residue from the grinding plates and auger.
  5. Rinse all parts thoroughly with clean water.
  6. Dry all parts immediately and completely to prevent rust, especially the knife and plates.
  7. Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor unit in water.
  8. Reassemble the dry parts or store them in a dry place.

Troubleshooting
