Ensure the jump starter has at least 50% charge before attempting to jump start a vehicle.
Operating Instructions: Jump Starting a Vehicle
Basic Jump Start Procedure
- Ensure the jump starter is adequately charged.
- Insert the smart jumper cables into the jump starter's EC5 port. The blue light on the cable's indicator will illuminate.
- Connect the red (+) clamp to the positive terminal of the vehicle's battery.
- Connect the black (-) clamp to the negative terminal of the vehicle's battery.
- Observe the indicator light on the smart jumper cables. A solid green light indicates a correct connection and readiness to start.
- Start your vehicle's engine within 30 seconds of the green light appearing.
- Once the engine starts, immediately remove the jumper clamps from the battery terminals, then disconnect the cables from the jump starter.
Force Start Function
If the vehicle battery is completely drained (below 2V) and the green light does not appear after connecting the clamps, press and hold the 'BOOST' button on the smart jumper cables for 3 seconds until the green light turns solid. This mode provides a direct power boost. Start the vehicle within 30 seconds. Disconnect immediately after starting.
