4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking and Inspection

4.2 Connecting Power

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

  1. Power On: After connecting all cables, switch on the mixer's power.
  2. Gain Adjustment: For each active channel, adjust the GAIN knob to achieve an optimal input level. The PEAK LED should flash only occasionally.
  3. Equalization (EQ): Use the HI, MID, and LOW knobs to shape the tone of each channel.
  4. AUX Send: Adjust the AUX knob to send a portion of the channel's signal to the AUX output, typically for monitor mixes.
  5. FX Send: Adjust the FX knob to send a portion of the channel's signal to the internal DSP effects processor.
  6. Pan Control (PAN): Position the sound of each channel in the stereo field (left or right).
  7. Channel Faders: Adjust the volume of individual channels using the vertical faders.
  8. Main Output: Use the L MAIN R faders to control the overall output volume.

5.2 DSP Effects

The mixer includes 16 built-in digital effects. Use the PROGRAM knob or UP/DOWN buttons to select an effect. Adjust the FX REPEAT knob to control the effect's intensity or decay.

5.3 USB/Bluetooth Playback

The USB/Bluetooth module allows for audio playback from a USB flash drive, memory card, or via Bluetooth connection.

  • USB/Memory Card: Insert a USB flash drive or memory card into the designated slot. The mixer will automatically detect and begin playing supported audio files (WAV, WMA, MP3). Use the module's controls for play/pause, skip, and mode selection.
  • Bluetooth Connection:
    1. Press the MODE button on the USB/Bluetooth module until "BT" is displayed.
    2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet), search for available devices.
    3. Select "MX-1200USB-BT" (or similar name) from the list to pair.
    4. Once paired, you can stream audio wirelessly to the mixer.

6. Maintenance
