4. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your LED strip lights:
- Prepare the Surface: Clean the installation surface thoroughly to ensure it is dry, smooth, and free of dust or oil. A clean surface is crucial for strong adhesion.
- Measure and Cut (Optional): If needed, the LED tape can be cut at the marked points (usually indicated by a scissor icon or copper pads). Ensure to cut only at these designated points. For re-linking cut sections, search for “2835 4 pin connector”.
- Attach the Strip: Carefully peel off the adhesive backing from the LED strip. Press the strip firmly onto the prepared surface, ensuring consistent pressure along the entire length to avoid flickering issues.
- Connect Components:

5. Operating Instructions
Your Ustarus LED Strip Lights are controlled by the included RF remote controller. Ensure AAA batteries (not included) are inserted into the remote.

- Power On/Off: Press the Power button to turn the lights on or off.
- Brightness Adjustment: Use the Brightness +/- buttons to adjust the light intensity (8 levels available).
- Color Temperature Adjustment: Use the Color Temperature +/- buttons to change the white light from 3000K (warm white) to 6500K (cool white) (10 levels available).
- Pre-set Modes: Select from Warm White, Daylight White, or Cool White modes using the dedicated buttons.
- Night Light Mode: Activate a low-brightness setting suitable for night use.
- Timer Function: Set the lights to turn off automatically after 3, 6, or 12 hours.
- DIY Buttons (Memory Function): Select your favorite mode (brightness and color temperature), then long-press one of the DIY buttons (DIY1, DIY2) to save the settings. You can then recall these settings with a short press.
The RF remote control offers a longer range (up to 15M) and can penetrate obstacles, allowing control from anywhere in the room. Each Ustarus remote connects to only one LED strip.
