Setup and Assembly Instructions
Assembly of the Allewie Queen Size Panel Bed Frame is designed to be straightforward. While one person can complete the assembly in approximately 30 minutes, having two people will make the process easier and quicker.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts and hardware from the headboard packaging. Lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
- Attach Side Rails to Headboard: Connect the side rails to the headboard using the provided bolts and Allen wrench. Do not fully tighten bolts until all major components are connected.
- Attach Side Rails to Footboard: Connect the other end of the side rails to the footboard. Ensure proper alignment. If holes do not immediately match, try rotating the boards to find the correct orientation.
- Install Center Support Beam and Legs: Secure the center support beam and its accompanying legs to the bed frame. These provide crucial central stability.
- Place Wood Slats: Position the wood slats across the bed frame. Ensure they are evenly spaced and secured according to the instructions.
- Final Tightening: Once all components are in place and aligned, fully tighten all bolts and screws.

Operating Instructions
Box Spring Requirement
This Allewie Panel Bed Frame requires the use of a box spring in conjunction with your mattress. The box spring provides the necessary support and elevation for optimal performance and comfort.

Adjustable Headboard
The headboard features three adjustable height levels to accommodate various mattress and box spring thicknesses. The recommended combined height of your box spring and mattress is between 14 and 24 inches.
- To adjust the headboard height, loosen the bolts connecting the headboard to the frame, slide the headboard to your desired height, and then re-tighten the bolts securely.

Maintenance
To maintain the appearance and longevity of your bed frame, follow these simple care instructions:
- Cleaning: Wipe the fabric upholstered headboard and frame with a dry cloth. Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, which may damage the fabric.
- Inspection: Periodically check all bolts and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten as necessary to maintain stability.
- Avoid Excessive Moisture: Protect the bed frame from spills and excessive moisture to prevent damage to the wood and fabric.
Troubleshooting
- Parts Not Fitting/Misaligned Holes: If you encounter difficulty aligning screw holes during assembly, try rotating the specific component (e.g., side rail or footboard). Often, parts may appear misaligned if oriented incorrectly.
- Stubbing Toe on Middle Leg: The bed frame includes central support legs for stability. Be mindful of their placement to avoid accidentally bumping your toes.
- Perceived Lack of Slat Support: The bed frame is designed with adequate slats for standard use with a box spring. If you desire additional support, you may consider purchasing supplementary slats separately.
- Wobbly Frame: Ensure all bolts and screws are fully tightened. A loose connection is the most common cause of instability. Re-check all connections.
