NatriChlor NatriChlor CD Set (8 oz Total)
NatriChlor CD Set Instruction Manual
Model: NatriChlor CD Set (8 oz Total)
Product Overview
The NatriChlor CD Set is a two-part system designed for the onsite generation of Chlorine Dioxide. This kit includes two 4 fl oz (120 ml) bottles, one containing Sodium Chlorite (NaClO2) as Part A, and the other containing Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) as Part B. When combined in equal amounts, these components react to produce Chlorine Dioxide, a powerful oxidizing agent.

Safety Precautions
CAUTION: Keep out of reach of children. May be harmful if swallowed. Will cause skin and eye irritation. Use in a well-ventilated area.
Always handle chemicals with care. Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Do not ingest. For detailed safety information, refer to the Application Chart and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) available at KVLab.com.

Setup and Preparation
- Identify Part A (Sodium Chlorite, NaClO2) and Part B (Hydrochloric Acid, HCl) bottles.
- Ensure you have a clean, dry, non-metallic (preferably plastic or glass) container for mixing the solutions.
- Work in an area with good ventilation to prevent inhalation of fumes.

Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for the onsite generation of Chlorine Dioxide:
- Combine equal amounts of Part A and Part B into your clean, non-metallic container. For example, if you use 1 drop of Part A, use 1 drop of Part B.
- Allow the mixture to activate for approximately 1 minute. During this time, the solution will begin to change color, indicating the generation of Chlorine Dioxide.
- For a concentration of approximately 30 ppm Chlorine Dioxide, add 3 drops of the activated mixture to 4 oz of water. Adjust the ratio as needed for desired concentration, always referring to the official application chart.
- Important: Never use the activated solution at full strength. Always dilute it with water as per application guidelines.

Storage and Maintenance
- Store the NatriChlor CD Set in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Ensure both Part A and Part B bottles are tightly sealed after each use to prevent degradation and maintain product efficacy.
- Keep the product in its original packaging until ready for use.
Troubleshooting
- Slow Activation: If the solution does not activate or change color within the expected 1 minute, ensure that equal amounts of Part A and Part B were combined. Verify that the ambient temperature is not excessively cold, as this can slow down the reaction.
- Ineffective Solution: If the generated Chlorine Dioxide appears ineffective for its intended purpose, double-check the mixing ratios and activation time. Ensure the water used for dilution is clean and free of contaminants that might interfere with the Chlorine Dioxide.
- Bottle Leakage: If bottles are leaking, ensure caps are securely tightened. Store bottles upright to prevent spills.
