2. Product Overview

3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove the fixture and all accessories from the packaging. Verify that all components listed in the package contents are present:
- 1 x LED Profile Ellipsoidal Light
- 1 x Power Cable
- 1 x DMX Cable
- 2 x Mounting Brackets
- 1 x User Manual (this document)
3.2 Mounting
Attach the two included mounting brackets to the sides of the fixture using the provided hardware. Ensure all screws are tightened securely. The fixture can then be mounted to a truss or stand using appropriate clamps (not included).
3.3 Electrical Connection
Connect the power cable to the 'POWER IN' port on the rear of the fixture and then to a suitable power outlet (100-240V, 50/60Hz). The 'POWER OUT' port can be used to daisy-chain power to other compatible fixtures.
3.4 DMX Connection
For DMX control, connect a DMX cable from your DMX controller to the 'DMX IN' port on the fixture. Use the 'DMX OUT' port to connect to the next fixture in the DMX chain.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On
Once connected to power, the fixture will power on. Use the control panel on the rear of the unit to navigate menus and set DMX addresses or standalone modes.

4.2 Manual Focus and Zoom
The fixture features manual controls for adjusting the focus and zoom of the light beam. Rotate the designated knobs on the side of the fixture to achieve the desired beam angle and sharpness. This allows for precise control over the size and clarity of the projected light.
4.3 Framing Shutters
Utilize the four framing shutters (blades) located at the front of the lens assembly to shape the light beam. Each blade can be independently adjusted to cut off portions of the light, creating custom shapes such as squares, rectangles, or other geometric forms. This is ideal for highlighting specific areas on a stage or set without spilling light onto unwanted surfaces.

4.4 Lens Interchangeability
The fixture comes with a default 19° lens. For different beam angles, optional 26° or 36° lenses can be purchased and installed. Refer to the lens replacement guide for detailed instructions on safely changing lenses.
4.5 DMX Control
For advanced control, connect the fixture to a DMX512 controller. Set the DMX address via the onboard control panel. Consult the DMX chart (typically found in a separate DMX manual or appendix) for channel assignments and functions, including dimming, strobe, and internal programs.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your fixture.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the exterior housing with a soft, dry cloth. For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning solution and a microfiber cloth to avoid scratches.
- Ventilation: Ensure ventilation openings are free from dust and debris to prevent overheating.
- Inspection: Regularly check power and DMX cables for damage. Inspect mounting hardware for tightness.
- Storage: When not in use, store the fixture in a dry, dust-free environment.
