Setup

1. Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the speaker's charging port and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator light will show the charging status. A full charge takes approximately 4 hours.

2. Power On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the indicator light turns on.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the indicator light turns off.

3. Bluetooth Pairing

The speaker uses Bluetooth 5.0 for a stable wireless connection up to 30 meters.

1. Turn on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, and the Bluetooth indicator light will flash.
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker" from the list of devices.
4. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the Bluetooth indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid.

4. True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Connection

You can connect two Mi Portable Bluetooth Speakers to create a stereo sound experience.

1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
2. On one speaker, press the Bluetooth button twice rapidly. It will enter TWS pairing mode.
3. The second speaker will automatically detect and connect to the first. You will hear a confirmation sound once connected.
4. Now, connect your device to one of the speakers via Bluetooth as described in step 3. Both speakers will play audio in stereo.

Operating Instructions

Audio Playback

• Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button once.
• Volume Control: Press the '+' button to increase volume, and the '-' button to decrease volume.

Call Handling

The speaker has a built-in microphone for hands-free calls.

• Answer/End Call: Press the Play/Pause button once.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the Play/Pause button for 2 seconds.

AUX Mode

To use the speaker with a wired connection, insert a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) into the AUX port on the speaker and the audio output port of your device. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.

Waterproof Feature (IPX7)

The speaker is rated IPX7, meaning it is protected against temporary immersion in water. This allows for use in environments where it might be exposed to splashes or rain, such as by a pool or during light outdoor activities. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before exposing the speaker to water.
