2. Safety Information

• This product is designed for indoor use only. Do not expose to water or high humidity.
• The LED strip operates on a 5V USB power supply. Do not connect to higher voltage power sources.
• Ensure the installation surface is clean, dry, and smooth for optimal adhesive performance.
• Do not bend the LED strip sharply or at angles greater than 90 degrees to prevent damage to the circuit.
• Keep out of reach of small children.
• Unplug the power supply before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
• Do not cover the LED strip with materials that could impede heat dissipation.

4. Product Overview

The Timelux LED Strip Light system consists of three main components:

• LED Strip: A flexible strip with 5050 SMD LEDs, capable of displaying various RGB colors. It has an adhesive backing for easy installation.
• USB Power Cable with Controller Box: Connects the LED strip to a USB power source (e.g., TV USB port, power bank, USB adapter). The integrated controller box receives signals from the IR remote.
• IR Remote Controller: Used to turn the lights on/off, change colors, adjust brightness, and select lighting modes.

5. Setup Instructions

1. Prepare the Surface: Clean the surface where you intend to install the LED strip. Ensure it is free of dust, dirt, and moisture. A clean, smooth surface will ensure strong adhesion.
2. Connect Components: Connect the 4-pin connector of the LED strip to the corresponding connector on the USB power cable with the controller box. Ensure the arrows on both connectors align for proper connection.

3. Remove Battery Tab (Remote): Before using the IR remote controller, pull out the transparent plastic insulation sheet from the battery compartment.
4. Peel and Stick: Carefully peel off the adhesive backing from the LED strip, starting from one end. Press the strip firmly onto the prepared surface as you go, ensuring good contact.
5. Power On: Plug the USB connector into a 5V USB power source (e.g., a TV's USB port, computer, or a standard USB wall adapter). The lights should illuminate.

6. Operating Instructions

Use the included IR remote controller to operate your Timelux LED Strip Lights. Point the remote directly at the IR receiver on the controller box for best results.

Remote Control Functions:

• ON/OFF: Power the lights on or off.
• Brightness Control: Use the ☀+ and ☀- buttons to adjust brightness from 1% to 100%.

• Color Selection: Press the colored buttons (Red, Green, Blue, White, etc.) to select a static color.
• DIY Colors: Some remotes may have DIY buttons to create custom colors. Refer to your specific remote layout.
• Mode Buttons:
  • FLASH: Jumps between colors quickly.
  • STROBE: Fades in and out of a single color.
  • FADE: Smoothly transitions between colors.
  • SMOOTH: Gradual change between colors.
