Designed for ease of use and optimal visibility, this manual provides detailed instructions to help you set up and operate your new alarm clock effectively.

  • 7.4" Mirror LED Display: Large, clear display that also functions as a mirror.
  • Projection Lens: Projects time onto a wall or ceiling.

Setup

Follow these steps to set up your alarm clock for the first time.

1. Power Connection

Connect the provided power cord to the Power Cord Port on the back of the alarm clock and plug it into a standard electrical outlet. The clock is primarily powered by corded electric, with an included Lithium Polymer battery for backup in case of power outages.

2. Initial Display

Upon connecting to power, the LED display will illuminate. The default time and temperature/humidity will be shown. The mirror surface may reflect the surroundings, adding to its aesthetic appeal.

Operating Instructions

Setting Time and Date

  1. Press and hold the SET button to enter time setting mode.
  2. Use the UP/PROJECT and DOWN buttons to adjust the hour.
  3. Press SET again to move to minute setting, then adjust with UP/PROJECT and DOWN.
  4. Continue pressing SET to cycle through year, month, and day settings, adjusting each with the UP/PROJECT and DOWN buttons.
  5. Press SET one last time to exit setting mode.

Display Brightness Adjustment

The 7.4" LED display features an auto-dimmer mode that adjusts brightness based on ambient light. You can also manually set the brightness:

  • Press the Zz/Light button repeatedly to cycle through Bright, Medium, Dim, and Off display modes.
  • Choosing the 'Off' mode will turn off the main display numbers, which is ideal for light sleepers who prefer no light in their room.

Time Projection

The alarm clock can project the time onto your wall or ceiling in a soft red light, which is visible without disturbing sleep.

  • To activate or deactivate the projection, press the UP/PROJECT button.
  • The projection lens can be rotated 180 degrees to adjust the projection angle.

Setting Dual Alarms

This clock supports two independent alarms.

  1. Press the AL button once to set Alarm 1. The alarm icon will flash.
  2. Use the UP/PROJECT and DOWN buttons to adjust the desired alarm hour.
  3. Press AL again to move to minute setting, then adjust with UP/PROJECT and DOWN.
  4. Press AL a third time to confirm Alarm 1.
  5. Repeat the process by pressing AL twice to set Alarm 2.
  6. To activate or deactivate an alarm, press the AL button until the corresponding alarm icon appears or disappears on the display.

Snooze Function

When an alarm sounds, press the large Zz/Light button to activate the snooze function. This will provide an additional 5 minutes of sleep time. The alarm will sound every 5 minutes until it is completely turned off by pressing any other button.

FM Radio Operation

The alarm clock includes an FM radio with auto-search and sleep timer functions.

  • Press the RADIO/SLEEP button to turn the FM radio on or off.
  • To auto-search and store stations (76-108 MHz), press and hold the RADIO/SLEEP button.
  • Use the UP/PROJECT and DOWN buttons to switch between stored stations.
  • Adjust the volume using the VOL button.
  • To set a sleep timer (5 to 90 minutes), press the RADIO/SLEEP button repeatedly while the radio is on to select the desired duration. The radio will automatically turn off after the set time.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your SZRSTH Projection Alarm Clock, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning the Mirror Surface: The acrylic mirror is specially treated. Use the provided suede cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the mirror surface. Avoid abrasive cleaners or materials that could scratch the surface.
  • General Cleaning: For the body of the clock, use a dry or slightly damp soft cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or sprays directly on the device.
  • Storage: If storing the clock for an extended period, unplug it from the power source and store it in a cool, dry place.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your SZRSTH Projection Alarm Clock, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

Display is off or too dim.Press the Zz/Light button to adjust brightness levels (Bright, Medium, Dim). If in 'Off' mode, press again to turn on. Ensure the power adapter is securely connected.
Time projection is not visible or unclear.Ensure the projection feature is activated by pressing the UP/PROJECT button. Adjust the angle of the projection lens. For optimal visibility, ensure the room is dark.
Cannot switch temperature from Celsius to Fahrenheit.Press and hold the DOWN button for 3 seconds to toggle between Celsius (℃) and Fahrenheit (℉).
Projection is upside down or sideways.Press and hold the UP/PROJECT button for 3 seconds to rotate the projection display 180 degrees.
Radio signal is poor.Extend the radio antenna fully and adjust its position for better reception. Try auto-searching for stations again.
Clock does not automatically adjust for Daylight Saving Time.This model requires manual adjustment for Daylight Saving Time. Follow the 'Setting Time and Date' instructions to update the time.
