3. Setup Guide
3.1 App Installation
To utilize the camera's full features, download the companion application:
- Search for "V380Pro" (or "video0" as mentioned in some descriptions) in the Apple App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play Store (for Android devices).
- Download and install the application on your smartphone.
3.2 Powering On the Camera
To turn on the camera:
- Press and hold the ON/OFF button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light illuminates.
3.3 Connecting to Wi-Fi
The camera can be connected to your smartphone via Wi-Fi for remote viewing. There are two primary methods:
- Direct Wi-Fi Connection (AP Mode):
- Turn on the camera.
- On your smartphone, go to Wi-Fi settings and search for the camera's Wi-Fi hotspot (it usually starts with "MV" or "V380").
- Connect to this Wi-Fi network. No password is typically required for the initial connection.
- Open the V380Pro app. The camera should automatically be detected, allowing you to view the live feed.
- Router Wi-Fi Connection (Station Mode):
- Ensure your camera is powered on and connected to your phone via direct Wi-Fi (AP Mode) as described above.
- Open the V380Pro app and access the camera settings.
- Look for "Network Settings" or "Wi-Fi Configuration".
- Select your home's 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network from the list and enter the Wi-Fi password.
- Confirm the settings. The camera will restart and connect to your home Wi-Fi network. Once connected, you can view the camera remotely from anywhere with internet access via the app.
- Alternatively, you can scan the QR code on the camera (if available) within the app to facilitate this connection.
Note: The camera only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks. 5 GHz networks are not supported.
4. Operation
4.1 Live View
Once connected to Wi-Fi, open the V380Pro app on your smartphone to access the live video feed from your camera. You can monitor your home or office in real-time.

4.2 Recording Video
The camera supports video recording to a Micro SD (TF) card (not included). Ensure a formatted Micro SD card is inserted into the camera's slot before recording.
- Continuous Recording: If a Micro SD card is inserted, the camera will automatically begin recording when powered on.
- App Control: You can also initiate or stop recordings directly from the V380Pro app.
- Offline Recording: The camera can record to the TF card even without a Wi-Fi connection.
Note: The camera supports TF cards up to 64GB. For optimal performance, format the Micro SD card before its first use with the camera.
4.3 Night Vision
The WEEA A9 Mini Camera is equipped with infrared night vision capabilities, allowing it to capture clear video even in complete darkness.
- The night vision mode activates automatically in low-light conditions.
- This feature ensures continuous monitoring and security around the clock.

4.4 Motion Detection and Alarm Push
The camera features intelligent motion detection that can alert you to activity in its surveillance area.
- When motion is detected, the camera can send an alarm push notification directly to your smartphone via the V380Pro app.
- This feature is crucial for security monitoring, allowing you to respond quickly to potential intrusions.
- You can configure motion detection sensitivity and notification settings within the app.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Charging the Device
The WEEA A9 Mini Camera is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery. To charge the camera:
- Connect one of the provided charging cables to the camera's charging port.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The indicator light will show the charging status. Refer to the app for precise battery levels.
- The camera can record while charging, allowing for continuous operation.
5.2 Storage Management (Micro SD Card)
To ensure proper recording and prevent data corruption, it is recommended to format the Micro SD card periodically, especially before its first use.
- Insert the Micro SD card into the camera's slot.
- You can format the card directly through the V380Pro app settings.
- Regularly back up important recordings from the Micro SD card to another storage device.
5.3 Cleaning
To maintain the camera's performance and image quality:
- Gently wipe the camera lens with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
- Keep the camera body clean and free from dust and debris.
