4. Maintenance and Storage

4.1 Charging

Always use a genuine Ryobi 18V charger or a compatible charger specifically designed for Ryobi 18V Lithium-Ion batteries. Avoid using damaged chargers or attempting to charge non-rechargeable batteries.

4.2 Storage

• Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• For long-term storage, charge the battery to approximately 50% capacity.
• Avoid storing batteries in a completely discharged state, as this can lead to irreversible damage.
• Keep batteries away from metal objects that could short-circuit the terminals.
