Important Safety Information
Please read all instructions carefully before operating the dehumidifier. Keep this manual for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.
- Always plug the unit into a grounded 3-prong outlet. Do not remove the grounding prong.
- Do not operate the dehumidifier with a damaged power cord or plug.
- Ensure the unit is placed on a level, stable surface to prevent tipping and water spillage.
- Maintain at least 8 inches (20 cm) of clearance around the unit for proper airflow.
- Do not block air inlets or outlets.
- Unplug the unit before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
- Do not use the dehumidifier in areas where flammable liquids or gases are stored.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Setup and Installation
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Retain the packaging materials for future storage or transport.
- Placement:
- Place the unit on a firm, level surface that can support its weight when the water bucket is full.
- Ensure there is at least 8 inches (20 cm) of air space on all sides of the unit for proper air circulation. Do not place it against a wall or furniture that would obstruct airflow.
- Avoid placing the unit near heat sources, such as radiators or ovens, or in direct sunlight.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded 120V AC, 60Hz electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs.
- Initial Operation: Allow the unit to stand upright for at least 30 minutes before plugging it in if it was transported on its side. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
Operating Instructions
Familiarize yourself with the control panel and its functions to effectively operate your dehumidifier.

Control Panel Functions:
- Power Button (⏻): Turns the unit ON or OFF.
- Mode Button: Cycles through operating modes:
- Auto Dry/Sec: Automatically adjusts humidity levels.
- Continuous/Continuous: Runs continuously regardless of humidity.
- Manual Set/Manual: Allows manual setting of desired humidity.
- Humidity Setting Buttons (+ / -): Adjusts the desired humidity level in Manual mode (typically 35% to 80% RH).
- Fan Speed Button: Selects fan speed (High, Low).
- Timer Button: Sets the auto-on or auto-off timer (1-24 hours).
- Filter Indicator: Illuminates when the air filter needs cleaning.
- Bucket Full Indicator: Illuminates when the water bucket is full and needs to be emptied. The unit will automatically shut off.
Special Features:
- Low Operating Temperature (3.2°C): The unit is designed to operate effectively even in cooler environments, preventing coil freeze-up.

Maintenance
Emptying the Water Bucket:
When the water bucket is full, the "Bucket Full" indicator light will illuminate, and the unit will automatically shut off. To empty:
- Grasp the sides of the bucket and carefully pull it out from the unit.
- Pour the collected water into a sink or drain.
- Slide the empty bucket back into the dehumidifier until it clicks into place. The unit will resume operation.

Continuous Drainage (Optional):
For continuous operation without emptying the bucket, you can connect a standard garden hose (not included) to the continuous drainage port on the back of the unit. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage.
Cleaning the Air Filter:
The "Filter" indicator light will illuminate after approximately 250 hours of operation, reminding you to clean the filter. A clean filter ensures efficient operation and better air quality.
- Unplug the dehumidifier.
- Remove the air filter from the back of the unit.
- Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before reinstalling. Do not use a dishwasher.
- Once the filter is reinstalled, plug in the unit and press the "Filter" button to reset the indicator.

Storage:
If the unit will not be used for an extended period:
- Empty the water bucket and ensure it is completely dry.
- Clean the air filter.
- Wrap the power cord neatly.
- Store the unit upright in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
